Iron Road Expedition

(Min 4 people. Available January to April)

Day 1
Arrival in Luleå from Stockholm or the UK. You will be transferred to your 4* hotel with twin / double rooms for a delicious meal and relaxation as you prepare yourself for the exciting adventure ahead.

Day 2
After breakfast you will be collected at your hotel and provided with thermal outwear, helmets, gloves and balaclavas. You will be given a full briefing on safety, security and how to handle your snow mobile. You will be guided through the Archipelago and it’s diverse landscape of forests and endless views. Enjoy your outdoor lunch sitting on reindeer skins around a campfire and perhaps try ice fishing, before continuing your adventure through the Archipelago. Warm up in the sauna that evening and enjoy a hearty meal before sleeping in a traditional log cabin.

Day 3
Following breakfast everyone helps with the equipment preparation. Take off to continue this amazing adventure heading North. Stop for lunch before heading along the Råneå River through the forest for some technical snowmobile driving. In the late afternoon you will arrive at a remote wilderness camp and husky farm for your second night of this adventure. Under the supervision of your guides, take the reins and drive a husky sleigh. Once again, time to relax, jump in the waiting hot tub and / or enjoy the sauna. Supper is a local speciality served in a wooden Lappish tee-pee.

Day 4
After breakfast and when the snowmobiles are packed you will turn and head back towards civilisation. Stopping for lunch and then, if snow conditions allow, find a route through untracked areas back to Luleå. Spend the night at a 4* hotel in the centre of Luleå.

Day 5

Breakfast followed by some free time to explore Luleå. Transfer to the airport
