Cruising the Norwegian fjords is a popular way to travel along the dramatic Norwegian coastline. Sit back, relax and enjoy the view as you weave between islands and navigate along narrow deep fjords. The Hurtigruten Coastal Steamer is the traditional way to travel, starting in Bergen on the west coast and meandering slowly around the North Cape to Kirkenes before retracing its route south to Bergen.
