The Lofoten Islands are a dream location for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Stunning scenery, incredible wildlife and of course the Northern Lights are just some of the attractions in the Lofoten Islands.

It is important to note that some of the snow based activities may not be available in October or November (and possibly other times) as these are subject to the snow conditions at the time.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomena and can never be guaranteed. There are many theories about the best place and best time of year to see them. One thing is certain. They are very much real and Lapland, Sweden & Norway are great places to see them. They are also fantastic locations to enjoy a winter holiday.

Northern Lights Drive Out

Lofoten Nature Safari

One of the most popular activities. Visit the Vertfjord and the beautiful landscape around Trollfjord. Start with a short lecture about the local geology and climate. Board the boat and head out for scenery and bird watching. There is an excellent chance of seeing sea eagles. It may also be possible to see killer and pilot whales. Lunch is served on board the boat. Available Nov-Mar on Fridays & Saturdays and every Thus in Feb & Mar 0900-1400 Please note this there is a minimum of 6 people for this tour to go ahead.
