Laponia Expedition

(Min 4 people. Available January to April)

Day 1
You will be met at the airport by one of your guides and transferred to your hotel. Dinner will be served and you will have the opportunity to have a sauna. A safety briefing will take place and equipment will be issued.

Day 2
After breakfast you take the snowmobiles and head into the forest. Stopping for lunch by a lake, there is the possibility to try some ice-fishing. Continuing your journey North across frozen lakes, base camp is set up in the late afternoon in mountain huts and you can enjoy a sauna and a hearty wilderness dinner.

Day 3
Breakfast is served before you head for the high mountains and if conditions allow, will reach glaciers. A warm lunch is served by a campfire, where you can try to light a fire on the snow. Ice-fishing and snow shoe walking are also possibilities during lunch. By late afternoon you will have returned to base camp where dinner will be served and you can warm up in the sauna.

Day 4
After breakfast everyone helps in the preparations. Driving through small villages you get to experience winter life in the remote North and sample some of this unique culture. Lunch is served on route and dinner served at a camp restaurant. Comfortable 4 bedded huts are the accommodation.

Day 5
Following your wilderness breakfast it's  time to turn towards the start point. A stop for lunch on route is the perfect time to reflect upon a magical snowmobile tour. Overnight in Jokkmokk where you can relax in the sauna before dinner.

Day 6

Breakfast followed by transfer to the airport for your flight to Stockholm or the UK.
