Itinerary
Day 1 - 3
ICE HOTEL (2 nights)

Fly from the UK to Kiruna (via Stockholm) where you will be met by an ICEHOTEL representative. Standard transfer to ICE HOTEL where you will receive warm outer clothing and a guided tour of this superb ICE structure. You will spend one night in a snow room (upgrades below!) where you will be woken with a hot cup of lingon berry juice at your bedside. Your second night will be in comfortable warm accommodation at ICEHOTEL. Spend your time relaxing, admire the stunning scenery or join in some of the thrilling activities at ICE HOTEL. You will be accommodated on a bed and breakfast basis at ICE HOTEL.

Day 3 - Husky or Snowmobile (you decide!)

Overnight Snowmobile - Lapland

You head out to this comfortable wilderness camp by snowmobile. Weaving through the magical snow covered forests of Swedish Lapland and across frozen rivers thick with ice. During this tour there is a chance of seeing moose, reindeer and you will drive 30-60km over 18-20hrs depending on conditions. Book the extended version for more snowmobiling!

At the Wilderness Camp there are 2 wilderness suites, 1 riverside suite and a large 3 bedroom log cabin with private rooms on the banks of the Torne River each with a log fire. There is running water (except riverside suite) and electricity! You will be catered for on a half board basis including evening meal and breakfast. The meals are prepared in the log cabin at the Wilderness Camp over a hot stove. At the Wilderness Camp you will find WC’s, showers and saunas. Your evening also includes time in a hot tub which will be kept warm for up to 3 hours. Look to the night skies for Northern Lights and a glittering array of stars.

Day 3
Overnight husky excursion - Wilderness Camp

You will be collected from your hotel after lunch for the short transfer to the husky kennels. This is a genuine hands on, back to basics wilderness experience in Swedish Lapland. You will meet your own team of 3 or 4 huskies for the following 20 hrs (approx) of wilderness adventure. You will be provided with warm clothing and brief instructions about how to guide your team of huskies through the ancient snow covered forests of Swedish Lapland. After harnessing your eager team of four legged friends you glide silently through the magical snow covered forests.

The wilderness cabin usually used on this tour is basic yet comfortable. There is no electricity and water is sourced from the frozen lake just 100m from the cabin. There is a comfortable lounge / dining area and the bedroom has bunk beds. The cabin is heated by a real log fire and you can relax in the wood fired sauna while your guide prepares your evening meal over a hot stove. Don’t forget to keep your eyes on the night sky for the Northern Lights!

If you are looking for a little bit more luxury during your overnight husky tour we can offer you a wilderness suite on the banks of the Torne River. The wilderness suite has a private sauna and shower and you also have access to a hot tub during the evening. Upgrade options

Breakfast at the wilderness cabin and further exploration of this beautiful environment. Transfer to Kiruna airport / train station depending on your onward travel arrangements.
