Deep in the Swedish countryside, high in the Fulufjällsbyn National Park, close to the Norwegian border, these cottages offer the perfect location for relaxation and adventure in the Swedish mountains. Fulufjällsbyn was created by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) to raise the awareness of conservation and promote the stunning scenery and unique flora and fauna of one of Sweden's most beautiful National Parks.

The park covers 40,000 hectares and at its peak exceeds 1000m above sea level. Further down you will find birch and pine forests, deep ravines and unique wildlife and flora. The rich variety of wildlife includes brown bears, lynx, elk, red deer and beavers. Look to the skies for eagles, harriers and owls. The most famous feature of the park is Sweden's highest waterfall, dropping 96 meters.

We will fly you into the Oslo (the closest international airport) where you will pick up your hire and head for Fulufjällsbyn. The journey takes approx 4hr30. This really is an exciting and unique experience in an amazingly beautiful part of Sweden. Stockholm is an alternative airport depending on your overall travel plans however we recommend a stop in a hotel on the way to and from Fulufjällsbyn.

Local summer activities include walking, horse riding, bear safaris, bird watching & accompanied wilderness tours, where you may see traces of elk and bear. There are over 300 lakes for swimming, kayaking and fishing.

The reception building of PAN Village Fulufjällsbyn also contains a nature reference library, information corner for children and a PAN Parks corner with comprehensive information on PAN Park Fulufjället. You will also have access to the internet in the reception area.

Price is based on 4 adults in a 4 bed cabin, 5 adults in a 6 bed cabin and 8 adults in an 8 bed cabin. Price includes flights from UK to Oslo (OSL), car hire, 7 nights self catering at Fulufjällsbyn. Sheets and towels are also included at Fulufjällsbyn.

Accommodation details
All the log cabins have a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, terrace area with picnic table, shower, WC, real fire & TV (basic channels)

4 bed log cabins
These log cabins are approx 55m2 with two bedrooms, one double / twin and one with bunk beds. There are ten of these stugas in PAN Village Fulufjällsbyn, two are detached and the other eight are semi-detached.

6 bed log cabins
These log cabins are approx 72m2 and have three bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two with bunk beds. All the rooms are on the ground floor and have floor heating. There are eight log cabins with accommodation for six in PAN Village Fulufjällsbyn, they are all semi-detached.

8 or 10 bed log cabins
The largest of the cabins at 120m2 and suitable for a large family or a group (of friends). This two-storied stuga has one bedroom on the ground-floor and three bedrooms on the first floor. Three bedrooms are double / twins and one bedroom has bunk beds. This stuga has an extra bathroom with shower and toilet and it has a balcony that can be reached via one of the bedrooms. It has the added luxury of a sauna, which will make your stay even more pleasant. There are four of these two-storied stugas in PAN Village Fulufjällsbyn, they are all semi-detached.
