Coast to Mountain Expedition

(Min 4 people. Available January to April)

Day 1
You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel for dinner and a briefing about the expedition ahead. There are plenty of opportunities to try ice fishing and snow shoeing throughout the expedition.

Day 2
After breakfast you take your snowmobile across the frozen ice and into the heart of the archipelago. An outdoor lunch by a campfire, you start to learn about arctic survival skills. In the late afternoon you arrive at a lodge for the night to enjoy a good dinner and relax in the sauna.

Day 3
After breakfast the expedition heads out of the archipelago towards the drift ice. After lunch you turn North along a frozen river for some technical driving in an ever changing environment. The camp is made in forest cabins and a wilderness dinner prepared on a campfire.

Day 4
A good breakfast is served prior to heading for the Arctic Circle across some difficult terrain and untracked snow. Lunch is served sitting on reindeer skins as you increase your survival knowledge. Staying within the Arctic Circle dinner and overnight is at a comfortable hotel.

Day 5
Following breakfast you head for the mountains across frozen lakes in search of fantastic views over the Laponia Mountains. Lunch is prepared whilst enjoying these views. Dinner, sauna and overnight in log cabins beside a frozen lake.

Day 6
A wilderness breakfast is served and you head towards civilisation for lunch. The beautiful Luleå river valley is the host for the evening meal.

Day 7
Savour your final day of this entertaining and educational expedition. Following breakfast you turn for Luleå stopping for lunch on the way. Spend the night at a 4* hotel in the centre of Luleå.

Day 8

Breakfast followed by some free time to explore Luleå. Transfer to the airport
