Whether you’ve been dreaming of a truly white Christmas, or you want to give the family something special, renting a log cabin deep in the winter countryside is the perfect winter warmer. After a day enjoying the sparkling white surroundings there is no better warmth than the glow of a real log fire or the deep warmth provided by a log fired sauna. Most of our log cabins are self catering but at Aurora Retreat, deep in Swedish Lapland, you will be accommodated on a full board basis.

Cottages vary in size and facilities. The number of beds begins at 4 and exceeds 12. All the cottages available are fully furnished with all the modern conveniences and are decorated to a high standard.

Built in a contemporary log cabin Swedish style these log cabins are located just 1hr from Luleå airport and 30mins from Boden, making our holidays some of the most convenient and comfortable self catering holidays available in Sweden. Local activities include snowmobiles, downhill skiing (optional lessons), cross country skiing, snowshoes and with the help of our local partners we can also arrange husky and cultural sami excursions. Storklinten offers a unique combination of real skiing with unbeatable accessibility. With 205m vertical drop, 4 lifts, 11 slopes, a fun park area, two cross country tracks and a children’s play area, Storklinten can accommodate everyone.
