Storklinten is located just 1hr from Luleå airport and 30mins from Boden, making our holidays some of the most convenient and comfortable self catering holidays available in Sweden.

A great place to enjoy the local hospitality and some local activities including snowmobiles, downhill skiing (optional lessons), cross country skiing, snowshoes and with the help of our local partners we can also arrange husky and cultural sami excursions. Storklinten offers a unique combination of real skiing with unbeatable accessibility. With 205m vertical drop, 4 lifts, 11 slopes, a fun park area, two cross country tracks and a children’s play area, Storklinten can accommodate everyone but is especially suited to beginners, intermediate skiers and families looking for a couple of days of skiing.

Log Cabins - 2 new cabins for 2012/13

In an elevated location on the Urberget hill overlooking the ski area and the Luleå river valley, there are three 65m2 detached log cabins (built in 2011). These log cabins are fully equipped for a comfortable winter break and furnished to a high standard. The kitchens have everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher and you will find a sauna in the bathroom. Under floor heating, shoe dryer and lots of space for hanging clothes are important features during a winter break. Each unit is about 65m2 has two double / twin bedrooms, a spacious combined kitchen and lounge area and a sleeping loft. Ideal for up to 6 people however 8 can stay quite comfortably.

Apartments

You won't even know they are apartments! Built in a contemporary log cabin Swedish style we have made 8 of these apartments available to our clients all with large windows, balconies and panoramic views over the ski slopes. They are approx 50m from the closest ski lift and 75m from the restaurant. Four of the apartments are 60m2 and four are 50m2. Each one has 6 beds in 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen including oven, hob, dishwasher, fireplace, microwave, fridge and freezer. You will also find a bathroom with shower and WC. The slightly larger apartments also have a private sauna.

• Fly from the UK to Luleå via Stockholm
• Pick up your rental car at the airport
• Short 1hr drive to Storklinten. Short stop en route to pick up a few essentials
• Arrival at your self catering accommodation in Storklinten
• Bedding and towels provided
• Stay as long as you like. We recommend 4 to 7 nights. Min stay is 3 nights.
• These apartments and log cabins are available from December to April
• The nearest supermarket is in the village of Harads – approx. 20mins
• Luleå (airport) is approx 1hr away and Boden (train stn & large supermarket) is approx 30mins away.
• The restaurant and bar services are: A buffet lunch service is open on Saturdays and Sundays. An evening meal is available on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Apres ski entertainment available most weekends.
