Kayaking Day in the Archipelago
If you could do just one nature excursion in Stockholm, then you should kayak in the outer archipelago. This watery world consists of thousands of uninhabited small islands which are among the wildest areas in Europe. This day tour is at an easy tempo to suit both beginners and more experienced alike. Most who join this tour have limited or no previous experience. The techniques are easy to learn and after a short training session you set off on your journey of discovery. Our tour guides are experienced paddlers with excellent knowledge of the archipelago, its history, flora and fauna. They know their way to the finest islands, skerries and inlets. Surprisingly few visitors come here and it is easy for us to find a deserted island to take a swim and stop for a rest with a well-prepared lunch. At 0845 you take the bus out into the archipelago. After 45mins you reach the end of the bus line and your guide will be there to meet you. Taxi boat to the kayak base for your kayaking tour. Afternoon tea before returning to Stockholm city between 6 & 7pm. Price £120 per person Thursday - Sunday 30 June - 28 August.
