Itinerary
Thursday (26Jul, 9 & 23Aug)
Flights from UK to Stockholm. Check in to your city centre hotel before taking some time to stroll through the Old Town (Gamla Stan), a walk along the water front or a traditional Swedish pastry with some coffee in a cosy cafe.
During the summer months Stockholm enjoys long sunny days and you will find entertainment across many locations in the centre. The famous Vasa museum is a must for any new visitor to Stockholm. Skansen and the Royal Palaces offer a cultural and historic view of the city.

Friday
During the morning you have more time to make the most of your time in Stockholm.
Noon departure for the idyllic islands. You will cruise to Möja island and your guide will meet you at the quayside. Check in to your room in the guest house, change into your kayaking gear and after a safety briefing & introduction about what is going to happen over the next couple of days you will head out into the nearby bays. Dinner is served in a local restaurant close to the shore.

Saturday

Breakfast close to the shore of this small bay in the outer archipelago. Today you will visit the Möja Nature Reserve and also enjoy a walk around an uninhabited island. A packed lunch is served on the islands before an afternoon exploring more spectacular scenery. Lunch is served on Möja during the bright and long evenings.

Sunday

For early risers there is the opportunity for a morning dip or a dawn paddle. After a hearty breakfast time to explore new inlets, islets and skerries. Your guide can help point out some of the bird life and explain for example why certain plants flourish on one island but not on another. Weather and wind decide the course. The day is planned for reasonable stretches of paddling and a stop for lunch, however the pace is always adapted to suit the group. Sooner or later it is time to turn around and head home.
The trip is rounded up with afternoon coffee and refreshments before a lovely evening cruise on the Waxholm ferry to Stockholm. For those who wish there is plenty of time on the boat to conclude the weekend in style with a dinner on deck. Check into your city centre hotel in Stockholm.
