Heli skiing / Heli boarding - Lapland

Sweden is is not renowned for it's high peaks but this snow sure area of northern Europe has consistently good levels of snow due to its northerly latitude located some 250km within the arctic circle. Due to weather conditions earlier in the year, when it can be bitterly cold and dark, the heli skiing season starts in March and runs to the end of May. In May you can expect to be skiing late into the night with 24 hour day light.

Here at Simply Sweden we offer you 3 packages all based around skiing / boarding a certain amount of vertical meters. The 3 packages are split into 10,000, 20,000 and 30,000 vertical meters and take approx. 3, 4 and 6 days of heli skiing to complete.

Not sure if heli skiing is for you? If you can ski comfortably down a black slope without falling over and have some experience of off piste skiing heli skiing is for you! If you have not been heli skiing before we do recommend our 10,000m or 20,000m packages below. If you are an experienced off piste skier and looking for a 30,000 vertical meter skiing experience over some of the most remote mountain scenery in Europe we recommend the 7 night package.
