Ripan is perfectly located in the capital of Lapland, Kiruna. It is just 10 minutes walk from the city centre where ice festivals and seasonal markets are well worth a visit. Ripan is just steps away from snow covered forests, stunning white wilderness and shy wildlife making this the perfect winter escape from hustle and bustle of large British cities.

Ripan is just a 30 minute transfer from ICEHOTEL, so you may want to combine a stay here with some time at ICEHOTEL or quite simply enjoy an excursion to this magical structure of ICE?

Accommodation is modern and comfortable in individual hotel standard cabins, or stuga (as the Swedish call them!). All cabins have a bathroom with shower and WC, drying area, cable TV and telephone. The generous breakfast buffet and your evening meals are served in the cosy restaurant.

There are also family cabins with 1 double bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds, perfect for a family of 4 with children of all ages. These cabins have recently been refurbished to include a fridge, microwave / oven and small hob.

Ripan has a fine restaurant, and like most Swedish restaurants, the ingredients are sourced locally and in tune with the passing seasons. The wine cellar is always heavily stocked with the perfect compliment to your meal.
