Lighthouse Keeper Holiday

Combine the wonderful city of Gothenburg with a night at the Paternoster Light House, marking the south west corner of this stunning archipelago. Gothenburg is the gateway to West Sweden and offers a range of activities and attractions to suit all tastes. The Paternoster Light House dates from 1868. It was an oil fired light house until 1964 when it became electrified. Now you will find a lighthouse with a small, personal hotel with an excellent restaurant.

One of the real joys of Gothenburg is its maritime locations. The local archipelago is made up of a myriad of islands with gently rounded rocky shores. They range from large inhabited islands to tiny, barren islets, and make it a very attractive summer destination.
