We recommend you book your activities and excursions at ICEHOTEL approx. 8 weeks prior to departure. All snowmobile / ranger activities require a driving licence that is valid in Sweden. Prices may change without warning due to factors outside the control of Simply Sweden.

Intensify your experience with an out of this world transfer
Journey through the magical winter wonderland of the ancient forests. You may see some of the local wildlife including moose and reindeer, or look towards the sky and you may see the Northern Lights.

• Snow mobile transfer 

A 2hr30 journey through ancient forests and across frozen lakes. £151 pp 2 per snowmobile. £225 for a single rider.

• Search for Moose in their winter grazing land
  If circumstances allow you will be able to take photographs of this shy animal in its natural habitat. £85 pp
  (4 hr departure transfer leaving at 8.30am, up to 31st Mar)

Snowmobiles

• Northern Lights Excursion
  A guided snowmobile tour in search of the Northern Lights. Includes supper.  £155 pp 2 per snowmobile. £230 single rider (7 to 11pm. 8 to midnight after 30th Mar)
• Wilderness Safari
  3hr snow mobile tour of the region across frozen lakes and rivers and through glittering ancient forests. Traditional light wilderness meal included. £140 pp 2 per snowmobile. £210 single rider. (1330 to 1630)
• Moose Winter Grazing Land
  ** Only 8 spaces available per tour ** A special 6 hour tour into the heart of Moose winter grazing country where you may see this shy creature in its natural habitat in the snow fields and forests of Swedish Lapland. £285 pp 2 per snowmobile. £360 single rider. Includes lunch. (8.30am departure, approx 6 hours. Not available after 31st Mar.) 
• Introduction to snowmobiling
  Guided through the ancient forests surrounding Jukkasjärvi. £80 pp 2 per snowmobile. £152 single rider.(3.30 to 5pm)
• For the Enthusiast
  2 hours of great fun for those who enjoy driving snowmobiles! You will drive your individual snowmobile. The perfect ending to your stay at ICEHOTEL. £114 single rider. (8-10am)
  

Husky Sleighs

• Dog Sled Excursion
  Includes fika in the wilderness. £145 pp
  (9.30 to 11am and 1 to 2.30pm)
• Dog sled excursion with kennel visit
  Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as you glide through the glorious white wilderness. Approx 28kms, includes lunch and a kennel visit to see the home of these wonderful animals. £265 pp (11am to 3pm)
• Drive your own Husky team option
  Optional upgrade of the kennel visit excursion above. After some instruction you should be ready to follow after your guide and enjoy the thrill of being in command of your own husky team. Upgrade for £85 pp
  

Skiing and Snowshoes

• Ski or snowshow with transfer
  After a short transfer to a wilderness shelter and fika in the wilderness you choose between skis or snowshoes and follow marked tracks through beautiful surroundings. Travel at your own pace back to ICEHOTEL. £105 pp (11am to 1pm approx)
• Ski or snowshow with guide
  Your guide will be with you through out this tour to a wilderness shelter and fika in the wilderness. Travel at your own pace back to ICEHOTEL. £80 pp (4.45pm-6.45pm)
• Downhill skiing at Björkliden
  Includes transfers (approx 1hr30), ski pass, ski equipment and guide for the day. £245 pp (8.30 - 4.30pm)

Other Activities

• Starlit diner
  A guided tour of the Esrange Space Station with a short lecture on scientific background of the Northern Lights. After the tour you will enjoy a 3 course supper with wine at a wilderness camp as you search for the Northern Lights through binoculars. £220 pp (Minibus tour, 7-10.30 pm. Not available in April)
• Sami Experience
  Enjoy traditional Sami food prepared over a campfire, experience reindeer pulling sleighs and indulge yourself in the everyday life and rich culture of the Sami. £145 pp
  (9.30 to 1pm and 2.30 to 6pm. 2.30 dep not available after March 29th)
• ICEdriving
  Test and improve your driving skills under the supervision of experienced instructors. Min age 18 and in possession of a driving licence valid in Sweden. 2 drivers per car and up to 2 passengers. Driver £295pp, passenger £100pp. (Available most days between 7th Jan and 31st Mar subject to conditions)
• Ranger Razer safari
  You will drive a Polaris Ranger Razer all terrain vehicle through pine forests and over frozen lakes to a wilderness camp. You may be able to test your skills on the track before return to ICEHOTEL. £220 pp 2 per vehicle. £295 single rider. (10.15-1.15pm)
• Ice Sculpting
  Spend the day carving your own masterpiece under the expert guidance of the ICEHOTEL artists. £50 pp (11am approx 2-3 hrs. Min age 12)
