We recommend you book your activities and excursions at ICEHOTEL approx. 8 weeks prior to departure. All snowmobile / ranger activities require a driving licence that is valid in Sweden. Prices may change without warning due to factors outside the control of Simply Sweden. Prices & times include any relevant transfers.

  A 2hr journey through ancient forests and across frozen lakes. £162 pp 2 per snowmobile. £240 for a single rider.

Northern Lights

• Northern Lights Snowmobile Excursion
  In cooperation with the Swedish Institute of Space Physics we offer a snowmobile excursion in search of the magic northern lights where our trained guides during the  excursion will tell you truths and tall tales about the mythical celestial phenomenon. A three-course dinner with local ingredients served in a wilderness camp is included..  £167 pp 2 per snowmobile. £243 single rider (7 to 11pm. 8 to midnight after 29th Mar)
• Northern Lights Husky excursion
  One of the best ways to explore Lapland during the winter months. Includes fika in the wilderness and hopefully an impressive display from the Northern Lights! £110 pp (2hrs30 including transfer to husky kennel)
• Dinner under the stars
  This tour, organized in cooperation with the Swedish Institute of Space Physics, takes you in search of the northern lights either to Esrange Space Center or Aurora Sky Station located in Abisko. Transfer and a three-course dinner with local ingredients is included. £233 pp (Minibus tour, 7-11pm)
• Northern Lights excursion by Horse
  Ride icelandic horses through ancient forests silhouetted against the mountains, hoping the staggering Northern Lights dance across the sky. Supper served at a Sami wilderness camp. £165 pp. Min age 12yrs. Max 90kg. (Up to 28Feb 15.30-2100, 1-31Mar 1700-2230)

• Introduction to snowmobiling
  A short introduction for those who have never driven a snowmobile or in preparation for a longer tour in Lapland. £57pp 2 per snowmobile. £139pp single rider.(3-3.45pm)

  Learn to master the vehicle that gives you a sense of freedom out of the ordinary on a 40 km long snowmobile safari in Lapland’s virgin forests. £92pp 2 per snowmobile. £174pp single rider. (4-6.15pm)
• Enthusiast Tour
  If you really love snowmobiling, we offer a fast-paced guided tour in small groups with focus on driving. £114pp single rider. 45min tour.
  
• Arctic Wilderness Safari
  An extra long snowmobile tour that will take you into the wilderness and to one of our wilderness camps. Traditional wilderness lunch is included. £148pp 2 per snowmobile. £224 single rider. (11.15am to 2.45pm)
• Arctic Wildlife Safari
  In collaboration with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and the ICEMoose project this safari takes you through some magnificent mountain sceneries along with a local guide. Learn about the animals living in the Lappish mountain world, how to trace their tracks and about the climate prevailing at the foot of Sweden's highest mountain, Kebnekaise. Transfer and lunch with local ingredients is included.. £285pp 2 per snowmobile. £361 single rider. (0900am departure, approx 6 hours.)

Husky Sleighs

• In the Trappers Footsteps
  Take a seat in the sled, experience the excited and howling dogs, and then the silence when the journey begins. Coffee and cake over a campfire is included. £143pp (9.30 and 1pm departures 1hr30)
• Everyday life of a musher
  An exclusive excursion where you get an insight in a musher’s everyday life by helping your guide and which will take you to the isolated wilderness camp located off the beaten track. Transfer and a traditional wilderness lunch served in a wilderness camp is included. £287pp (11am start)
• Drive your own Husky team
  Optional upgrade to the Everyday life of a musher excursion above. After some instruction you should be ready to follow after your guide and enjoy the thrill of being in command of your own husky team. £379pp

Sami Cultural Tours

• Nutti Sami Siida
  Visit Nutti Sami Siida, enjoy their exhibitions on the Sami culture and history, and take the opportunity to visit the reindeer in the corral. Lunch with local ingredients is included. £32pp (not available on 24Dec)
• Raidu - Sami Culture & Reindeer Sled
  Join our Sami guides to the newly renovated wilderness camp, take part of Sami everyday life, its rich culture and the excitement of driving your own reindeer sled. Transfer and traditional wilderness lunch served in a Sami cot is included. £145pp (9.30-1pm)

Ski / Snow show excursions

• Ski or snow shoe with guide
  Experience the snowy forests of Lapland on snowshoes or skis. Coffee and cake served in the wilderness camp is included. £69pp (8.45-10.45am)

• ICEdriving
  A driving experience on ice, which allows you to develop as a driver and provides an insight into the security systems that modern cars are equipped with. Transfer and, coffee and cake is included.Min age 18 and in possession of a driving licence valid in Sweden. Driver £329pp, passenger £118pp. (Fridays & Sundays 8am-midday. May open / close earlier subject to conditions)
• Ice Sculpting
  Spend the day carving your own masterpiece under the expert guidance of the ICEHOTEL artists. £57 pp (11am approx 2-3 hrs. Min age 12)
• Moose excursion by Horse
  At the foot of Sweden’s highest mountain, Kebnekaise, deep in Lapland, you ride Icelandic horses out into the moose’ winter grazing land in search of the king of the Lappish forest - the moose. Transfers and lunch is included. Minimum age 12 years. Max weight 90 kg. £165 pp (0900-1500)
• Esrange Space Centre
  A guided tour of Europe's only civilian space center, Esrange Space Center - an international center for space research. Transfers included. £67pp. (8.30-12.30). Due to the nature of a live space station this tour can be altered / cancelled at short notice.

• Ranger Razer safari
  You will drive a Polaris Ranger Razer all terrain vehicle on an ice track for approx. 20mins. Test your times against other competitors to see who wins! £36pp.
