New for winter 2016/17. Logger's Lodge - a romantic escape in Swedish Lapland serviced to a high standard, exclusive to your group of 2 or 3 guests.
A romantic escape in Swedish Lapland.
Two nights of fun in the treetops of the Boreal Forest and a night listening to the silence of nature, far from civilisation at Logger's Lodge. With the exception of the guide's house, your nearest neighbour is over 5km away.
An eager team of furry huskies will guide your through the Boreal Forest on a magical 1hr30-2hr journey where the snow hangs heavy in the trees and the branches bow as you glide silently past. Civilisation is left far behind and there are great chances of seeing wildlife such as moose and reindeer.
Logger's Lodge is exclusive to your group and the chances of seeing other tourists are almost zero. Take this chance to be at one with nature, absorb the crisp clean air and admire starry night skies (and with luck the northern lights) from the outdoor Jacuzzi just outside the log cabin.
This is the perfect place to explore and float on soft snow using snowshoes (3hr guided snowshoe excursion included!) to negotiate this area of untouched natural beauty which is quite possibly beyond your imagination!

Deep in the pine forests of Swedish Lapland is a traditional red log cabin that was once a basic logger’s lodge for those working in the timber industry. Once upon a time huge tree trunks were transported along the The Bodträsk River, which still flows by the cabin, to the sawmill further downstream.
During the spring / summer of 2016 this log cabin has been renovated to include an outdoor Jacuzzi, a wood fired sauna and a showcase open fire in the centre of the cabin. The closest neighbour is some 5km away with the exception of your guide’s house.
Basic facts:
• Wood fired sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi
• Snowshoes and cross country skis are there for you to use as you wish
• There is electricity. There is no running water
• 50sqm cabin
• perfect for 2 guests and 1 extra bed on request
• 1 king size double bed
• 3hr excursion included (snowshoes, cross country skiing or northern lights photography).
**The 7th Room - NEW FOR JANUARY 2017**
A luxururious, spacious room with space for 5 people, 10 meters high in the trees with an impressive view across the Lule River Valley.
Treehotel has taken the lead by using innovative building techniques to secure the cabins in the trees. By using securing brackets and by closely monitoring the growth rate of the trees, Treehotel has successfully built a hotel in the tree tops without using nails. Luleå university has also been closely involved as international companies and organisations look to use and adapt this innovative process. Your meals are served at Britta's pensionat (part of Treehotel) and with a full range of winter activities you will find plenty to keep you occupied.
Warm outer clothing is included during your stay from December to March.
