3 nights at the world famous and original ICEHOTEL deep inside Swedish Lapland under the northern lights corridor.
Experience the Magic of New Year deep inside Swedish Lapland at the world famous ICEHOTEL.
Fly from the UK to Kiruna and enjoy three nights including a night in a room of ice. You land in this magical winter wonderland at Kiruna airport in the early afternoon. The transfer to ICEHOTEL takes just twenty minutes. Check in at the main reception, collect your warm outer clothing and explore this incredible structure.
Included is a guided tour of ICEHOTEL and some useful information about how to sleep well at -5C.
In 2014/15 the entry level room is an ICEroom. It is decorated with ICEfurniture and ICEsculptures and offers a thick comfortable mattress lined with reindeer skins and a sleeping bag especially designed for ICEHOTEL. Many guests say they have had their best night’s sleep in years.
The Northern Lights Suites are an artistic celebration of the northern lights in spacious rooms where the designers use fibre optic lighting to decorate the room in a shower of light.
Each ARTsuite is unique and elaborately decorated with ICEart and ICEsculptures. Each room has an individual theme as artists and designers compete annually to have their room created at ICEHOTEL. If selected the winner travels to Jukkasjärvi to hand carve their own design. During December, when ICEHOTEL is still being built, it is possible to speak to the designers.
