April 2013
Icehotel was incredible and the snowmobile excursion out into the woods was really good fun; the guide made sure we had the chance to have a very good go! Wilderness night out was also fantastic - hot tub and sauna were all set up for us and we were able to see the Northern Lights in a beautiful surrounding. Once in a lifetime experience.
Additional_Comments: Absolutely fantastic time; booked as a birthday surprise for my wife who absolutely loved it. It was like Narnia! Would definitely go back and recommend the trip and Simply Sweden.

April 2013
The reason I made the booking is because of the consultant Chris took the time to get back to me and treated as an individual listened and made suggestions,No question seem to be to much trouble.

Just back from a stunning trip to Sweden - thank you for all your fantastic organisation. We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back. The husky sledging was just amazing (altho’ we hadn’t realised we would be driving our own teams....................but it was even better than being driven.................an incredible experience.)

Shame you don't have a box for excellent, amazing, fantastic, wonderful etc as these would better describe the welcome, the facilities, the food, the staff and the surroundings at the treehotel.
Loved the snowmobile drive to the wilderness cabin.  Our guide was thoughtful without being neurotically protective, our hosts there made us very welcome (and provided a delicious meal), the cabin was idyllic and the 2 hours we stood outside (at-24) watching the northern lights was unforgettable.
The entire holiday was so much more than we could have hoped for.  We  said this was a once in a lifetime trip but now hope to repeat the experience with a similar holiday sometime.

On both trips we saw the Northern lights. The company you arranged the northern lights chase with did really well. They drove in horrendous conditions to the Finnish border, when we thought no chance of a sighting was on, and we were rewarded with a good 1hr show. The Hotel was excellent (the breakfasts were fantastic!) and all in all it was a really good short break in the arctic.

February 2013
The best holiday ever.. The holiday complex at Bjorkliden was friendly and efficient. The Kappas cabins excellent and warm. Trip to the sky station was so scary for me, not Derek. Snowmobile and dog sled trips were fun into stunning scenery. Evening dinner in an authentic scenery was not as advertised ( not snow bar) but was great followed by the Northern lights. Even Disney could not have organised that.!!  Derek particularly enjoyed the night 'snow shoe' walk. The event leaders were all brilliant and friendly.
Margaret enjoyed a Northern Lights Holiday in Björkliden

February 2013
All the staff at Bjorkliden where friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.
The holiday was a tremendous success .... we have quite an age range with our children (girl aged 10 to boy aged 16) and all of us had the time of our lives.

February 2013
Just wanted to tell you I have had the best winter holiday of my life (bar a trip to Antarctica) at Hotell Fjallet at Bjorkliden.  I was very well cared for and about, & had the time of my life on snomobs – especially as midnight approached!   The hotel was very comfortable, with views to die for, and I met some delightful people working there.
Northern lights weren’t very co-operative, but there was great excitement all round when the sun appeared through Laporten for ten minutes on Wednesday !

September 2012
One of the most enjoyable holidays we have had, thank you very much. One good restaurant we found near the Columbus is the Axela, Gotgatan 73, on the junction with Skanegatan. Highly recommended.

September 2012
Well,we had a great time! Thank you so  much for arranging everything - it all went off like a dream and we even sorted out our own train trips from Malmo to Ellensburg and Ystad.
All the hotels were great and you were right about everybody speaking English - everybody helped us although the itinerary did not mean we needed much help.
Thanks again for a great holiday

August 2012
Just back from a wonderful two weeks in Sweden.  Thank you so much for arranging such a great time.
The Inlandsbanan exceeded our expectations - although the hotels were variable.  Those in Mora, Ostersund and Gallivare were great. The Nordic Sea Hotel was very comfortable and ideally situated right next to the railway station  (but it was very quiet because of the excellent double glazing.) We particularly appreciated the Stockholm Card that you arranged for us - we used it to very good effect. We were especially impressed with the service of Norwegian airline - very efficient and personal and on time. Thank you once again.

Simply Sweden did all the hard work for us in choosing pleasant, clean hotels in great locations and sorting out travel arrangements between the cities. We simply followed the itinary to get the best out of our first introduction to sweden whilst enabling us to remain individual travellers. They were also very kind and helpful when we needed them. I would not hesitate to recommend their service.

Apr 2012
Yes, I know I've sent you faaar to many photos, but when we have taken over 800 its very hard to chose a few (over 200 of the Northern Lights)!!
Can't tell you how fantastic that trip was - still excited about it all. The mirror cube and all that it brought was so amazing and also the wilderness camp with the snowmobiles and stunning Northern Lights displays....... magical, unbelievable and a wish come true!! Enjoyed the IceHotel of course, but that was the least favourite - surprisingly enough.
Thank you so much for arranging such a wonderful trip - it all ran like clockwork - not one hiccup.

Just wanted to say thank you for arranging our holiday, we managed to see the lights spectacularly on Friday and Saturday, seeing pink, red and purple as well as the normal green. We had a fabulous time and will treasure the memories. You may get a few of my friend's contact you in the future, as many of them have said "I have always wanted to do that"

Just an email to say thank you for organising my recent trip to the Ice Hotel. It all went according to plan and the Mrs said yes. So thanks again and i will certainly be recommending you.
Neil on a Lapland Holiday

Apr 2012
Thanks for the trip, everything was spot on with organisation no hic ups what so ever, faultless. All the staff and guides were helpfull and friendly and all the facilities were good, every thing was done in the right order as well, by that i mean, staying in the ice hotel first as opposed to a warm room first then the ice hotel. we wouldn't have fancied that.( personally i wouldn't want to spend another night in there but it was an experience we are pleased we didn't miss)
The huskies was brilliant, i didn't think that we got to drive a sleigh by ourselves , i thought we just sat on it and the guide drove it, fantastic. so when that trip was over it was all so great to crash out in a warm room and get a decent nights kip that night.( after a 4am get up on Tuesday, then sleeping in the ice hotel )
The overnight snowmobile was the icing on the cake, from the grub the guide cooked for us, the sauna the and hot tub was all out of this world, as was the scenery and the solitude of the area. The only thing we missed out on was not seeing the lights. we mean`t to get up about midnight to go to see if they were about, but with all the fresh air sauna and wine we didn't wake up until 5am.
The guide whom came for us the next day said that they were quite spectacular, so we did miss out, but we will just have to go back again some time i guess. we was the only two people on the trip, and weather was great, so it made it all that bit special.
All in all we had a great time, Thanks again for your advice and help.
Clive stayed at ICE HOTEL and the snowmobile wilderness camp

April 2012
We returned from a fantastic trip on Wednesday evening and I would like to thank you for all your help and advice.  The weather was stunning, bright sunshine for most of the time which made the outdoor activates very pleasant.  As well as the snowmobile trip we also tried snowshoeing, langlauf skiing (we took a picnic with us and ate it sitting on a boulder in the snow and sun) and ice carving.  We were the only 2 in the sculpting class, so had the complete attention of the instructor!  Shame we couldn’t bring the results home!  Although we only saw a hint of the aurora we enjoyed our evening in the hot tub and as you suggested, we took a special bottle of champagne to drink.  It was so cold out of the tub that the champagne froze!  As we were the only 2 on the snowmobile trip we could travel at tour won pace and the guide, Emilio, let us have a race around on the river ice on the last morning.
The night in the Ice Hotel was very special, and having had a meal in the Restaurant and a couple of drinks in the Ice Bar, we slept very well.
Thank you again for organizing a wonderful trip for us.

March 2012
Just to let you know that we had a great time in Stockholm and Harads, and everything went very smoothly. Thought everyone at Columbus and at Britta’s place, together with Graham, Tomas, Anders & Anna, and Richard (huskies), were without exception incredibly friendly and really helpful. We did see a number of sea eagles on the hovercraft trip.
Anthony stayed at Treehotel and did our special hovercraft tour with Anders!

I just wanted to write and say a big thank you, we had a brilliant holiday and all of the trips you recommended were excellent.  I know I called you on Thursday trying to change the Wilderness Cabin but I'm so so glad you talked us into doing it, it was lovely and we wished we’d stayed there more than one night.  We also had a fantastic display of the Northern Lights whilst we were there.
Your advice on which trips to book was absolutely spot on.  The two excursions we booked through you were excellent, the guides were on time,  ensured we were warm enough and enjoying the trips,  and our safety was obviously one of their highest priorities.
I won’t hesitate to book another holiday with you in the future and will recommend Simply Sweden to colleagues and friends.

Feb 2012
The whole experience was amazing! All the excursions were excellent, the weather was great, northern lights fantastic! We were really taken with the whole setting and the girls would love to go back again (after a few more years saving!)
The wedding went really well and everyone looked lovely, I expect you have seen some photos already?
I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Feb 2012
Thank you so much for arranging the trip for me, it was absolutely fantastic and we all had a great time, and my friends survived the ice room for the night!!
One of the best trips was definitely the snowmobiles High Mountain day trip, led by the father and son duo - Andreas and Nilus - who ran it, they just have everything down to a tee and everyone said it was a perfect day!  although we enjoyed all the tours, and  everyone had catered for my veggie friend!

Just a quick email to let you know my family and I had a wonderful time at Storklinten over the Christmas period. The accommodation was very nice and cosy, views were stunning (for 4/5 hours a day!), the people were very helpful and welcoming and the snowmobile safari was excellent fun.

We had a fantastic time in Sweden, the place and people are so nice and helpful. We couldn't put one thing down as our best experience, it was all so brilliant. What a honeymoon. I am so glad we booked the trip through Simply Sweden. We were interviewd by the Swedish newspaper 'Expressen' while at the Tree Hotel. So we'll keep a look out for the article on their website (although without an english translation it could prove difficult). having seen the costs of the trips run by the 'Ice Hotel', we certainly got value for money booking through yourselves.
Will enjoyed a tailor made holiday in Lapand

Jan 2012
We absolutely loved the trip - every single second.
The husky sledding was SPECTACULAR, and we were so lucky to be with Tore Albrigtsen (who is rated in the Frommer Guide, along with his wife, as the most experienced husky sledder in Norway). We couldn't have been in safer hands, and he took the time to eat with us, to talk with us, and to give us so much insight into his life and experience. The sledding itself was active, sporty, complicated by some truly arctic weather, and absolutely spectacular.
I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences of my life. Thanks a million for organising it for us, really, really want to go back and do it all again!

Dec 2011
I just wanted to thank you as we loved these holidays, all your recommendations were relevant and we had a great time there and wanted to let you know.
All went perfectly well and the weather was very good too so we were very lucky.
The highlight of the trip was the tree hotel, but we do not recommend the nest as it is quite noisy, the UFO for a family seems to be the most appropriate, Britta who runs the place with her husband is very lovely and the tree hotel is a must.
In Kiruna the best activity we did was the 'drive your own husky sleigh' the dog keeper was great, the soup he served for lunch was amazing and the dogs were fast !!!!!
Re the Icehotel, I am really glad we did not sleep there it is very cold....and there are many tourists, although once again it is a must to visit such a beautifully place....
Sophie took her family to Treehotel, ICE HOTEL and Lapland

Dec 2011
We wanted to let you know that we had an amazing 3 days in Swedish Lapland.
Everything worked out really well. We enjoyed the snow mobiling and husky sledging tremedously, and the ice hotel was totally up to our expectations....if not more!!
The arrangements you made for us all worked out really well.....thankyou.
The only thing was that we didn't get to see was the Northern Lights....too heavy clouds. But its a good excuse to go back to that part of the world again.
Let us know when you start doing trips to Norway, and maybe next year we will go there to try and see the Northern Lights.
